| too soon!! ='( Hi bloggie! OMG! Panic attack!! I've got just today and Monday morning to spend all my precious time with habibi and family *sigh* it's too soon! I'm not ready to leave yet ='( I haven't even done packing!! I just can't decide what clothes to bring and how many... huhu... There's still a lot to do yet so little time... huhu... Anyhoo...I wish your Aidilfitri was great =) I haven't manage to visit a lot of relatives and friends this year, sadly. Oh well, Insya-Allah, next year:) Here are some pictures I've promised. I'm too lazy to watermark.... First day raya: As usual, we always visited grandparent's house first. This year, we visited Nini Lumut first, only after that we went to Nini Bunut. After eid prayer, we got ready and took family pics and off we go. Over at nini's, we had our lunch and mingle with relatives. Afterwards we took pictures together. While at nini Bunut, as most of our relatives were not there yet, we ate some more after the men performed friday prayer. Not much pictures taken... We went home that afternoon and visited tangah before heading home. Our first raya visitor this year was babu Marijan and family =) Second day raya: Stayed home for the rest of the morning as my parents were working. That evening we went to Silah's and Nini Salmah's at Lumut. Here is my Outfit of the day =D Third day raya: Woke up early and join habibi and his family to the palace to greet the royal family. We had breakfast and waited patiently to greet the royals. We parked our car at Damuan and walk all the way to the palace on foot. The palace was crowded and I was annoyed with the ladies queue. Oh well.. It was an experience. Oh btw, it was my second time going to the palace=D After that, I went with habibi to take studio pictures. I asked him to take along his graduation robe. And I've taken the pictures yesterday, (19/09). Nice!!! loving it!! Later on, we went beraya with my family. We managed to visit 2 houses and then off we go to habibi's =D Fourth day raya: Mum invited habibi & family for dinner at home =) Fifth day raya: Had majlis doa selamat at Rizqun for all the study abroad programmes (SAP) students where the students who went to Jordan & Egypt received their allowances. Spent the remaining of the day with reesya =) Changed her earrings for the first time!! Sixth day raya: Ambuyat dinner at habibi!=) Nyummy! Seventh day raya: Took allowances at uni and find several money changer around bandar and gadong. Pounds were sold out at every money changer and I end up changing at BIBD & HSBC...Later on we had our lunch at Susy's and went to Miss Anissa's open house =) Eight day raya: Had makan doa selamat at home + open house... Ninth day raya: Stay at home, doing LOADS of house chores to the extent that I got tired and can't pack some more =S Tenth day raya: My last day of raya!! Visited relatives in KB.. First we went to kaka lina's at mumong, then bapa buyung's, muaz's, mum's friend auntie Jas, and Naemah and lastly Pakistani friend's. Then we went to Lumut and went home. Later, I went to bandar with habibi to take our studio pictures;) Bought some last minute stuff and went to Nimu's open house...Spent my valuable time with habibi as it was our last night together ='( toodles ♥ p.s. yea, i know, i was supposed to post this last week, but i can;t seem to find the time, sorry... *hugs* posts from UK coming up =) Labels: cousins, eid, family, habibi Eid Mubarak! SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI MAAF ZAHIR & BATIN TO ALL MUSLIMIN & MUSLIMAT with loads of love, sincere and heartfelt apologies for every wrongdoings, I hope all will be forgiven =) toodles ♥ p.s. soon to be updated with pics and 1st day raya stories=)
fasting so far, preparation for SAP, upcoming eid..... Kaifa haal? Ana bikhoir Alhamdulillah:) (How are you? I'm good Alhamdulillah) I miss Arabic classes... Now that we are not having any, my Arabic is rusty. The other day, Faezah (who can only converse in Arabic and French) talks to me and I was lost at what she was saying :( Oh well, anyway, how was your fasting so far? Mine, Alhamdulillah, I almost fast a month full, if it wasn't that one particular day where I forgot to sahur and niat, I would have a perfect fast, Insya-Allah :) I can't believe we are at the end of Ramadhan :'( I'm sad that my ibadah is not a lot this year =( I feel bad because I did not grab the chance to redeem myself in this holy month =( Oh Allah, I hope I'll meet the next Ramadhan, Amin... I am not thrill celebrating eid this year, as it would be a short one for me =( the house is not yet clean and we have no cleaning campaign yet as both my parents and brother are busy working. I'm exhausted of doing most of the house chores. I'm the one who always takes out the trash, did the dishes, do the laundry. But I know I can't complained..huu.. the house is still currently a mess. I can't magically clean it as only my mom can do it. ehe. Her monthly painful cramps came back and it was difficult for her to do any work:( Oh Allah, may mum recovers quickly, Amin... Anyway, I have 2 more weeks to spend my time with families, friends and habibi... My flight ' to UK will depart this 20th Sept at 8pm. I hope to spend my valuable time I've got left with them..huhu.. So let me refresh back bout my preparation on SAP from step 1. As I'm absent minded, I hope I could refer back to this post for my future reference:) 1. 1 yr Study Abroad Programme is granted to unissa students who constantly obtained CGPA grades B+ above... 2. When one is shortlisted, he/she must undergo an interview with unissa personnel. In this interview, the student is asked about whether they wanted the opportunity or not. Their attendance to CCA and unissa's events are also thoroughly checked and questions... Other question ask is regarding the culture shock and your feeling of leaving behind family members... 3. Us 4 (me, syadah, syidah & anney) were instructed to choose between University of Reading and University of Exeter. After choosing, we are required to find the application form on the uni's website and apply it ourself. 4. We consult our faculty dean regarding the modules. The recommended modules are those from management. 5. After we have finished with the application form and learning agreement form, we asked for the dean's chop of approval, and made copies to all of our transcripts and relevant documents. 6. We then send the forms through EMS which cost us $45. However, at the last minute, we were told that we could send the forms for free through HRD services / James Hon. 7. We received CAS letter through email a few weeks later and with it we could apply for visa. 8. We wait for an offer letter from unissa and an instruction for us to do medical check up. 9. I had medical-check ups at tutong hosp. On the first day, I went to ENT clinic, lab to take blood&urine sample, dental clinic and X-ray. The next Monday, I went for eyes check-up at eyes clinic and had montoux test. 10. The reading of the montoux test was on wednesday, so since it was a schooling day, I went for the reading at Kiarong's clinic. I return all my forms to the hosp admin and wait for the med chec result. 11. We apply visa online with the help of HRD services, (syadah&anney using James Hon). We booked an appointment to the British Hi-comm at Yayasan and presented our passport, printed application form, along with our transcripts, CAS, university offer letter, sponsorship letter and O-Level certificate. 12. I was called to have Dr check up at Telisai clinic a few days later (27 aug) and on that day the Hi-Comm called me to collect my visa. Alhamdulillah, my check-up result turns out fine, and it was such a rush because I have to go back and forth from telisai to tutong hosp to have ECG as the one in telisai was broken. 13. Done with Dr check up and had my med chec result in hand, This result then needs to be copied and sends to HEP office. 14. I took my visa on the 31st as I was finally free that time. I only bring my IC with me, as I don't want to hassle myself bringing bag as they need to be put into a locker at the Hi-comm... 15. Done with everything, now the only thing left to do is pack and prepare mentally and physically. Oh well, I haven't start packing :( I haven't buy any stuff. My parents haven't take me to the shops to buy stuff, as they are busy working :'( I have to prepare everything myself :( It's hard for me to ask $$ from them as I don't want to burden them. Oh well, I guess I'll just wear what I have and be frugal in everything starting now as I've spend a lot on nonsense... toodles ♥
Happy belated birthday Syadah!! Salam:) Happy belated birthday Syadah!! (^^,) Me and the girls had an awesome sungkai on Syadah's birthday, 3rd september... It was at RBC, the Airport Restaurant. It was extremely pricey, $3o per person, however worth it..Well maybe not for me as I did not eat a LOT and I skipped seafood stuff. Huuhuu... deez&cee :) p.s. that's my food, mixture of everything, a sambal prawn, 2 diff type of rice, veges, meat, lamb, chicken, macaroni with birthday gal (^^,) fruits & my abc which doesn't look appetizing XP i just mix everything in, however it tasted good:) still waiting for 'baduk' Syadah's - I don't eat mussel. It tasted like ramis and I'm not particularly fond of the taste:( forking on 'rojak india' (which I didn't eat - i'm not into rojak :( ) finally, something i love, creamy icecream!! delish XP cute bday cake for cute bday gal! (i was in the toilet when the waiter presented this cake, uhu, too bad) peejah love the smells of $$ hehe wafi with her sampul raya:) So anyway, in addition to the food I mention above, I manage to eat Soto, Ambuyat, and plenty of cakes. I am particularly fond of this one choc cake, it tasted good with choc moist in the middle:) However, I've skipped salad, mussels, squid, rojak, chic soup, bubur lambuk and some agar-agar :( I wish I could eat em all, but my tummy won't allow me, and by the time we finish our meal, my tummy feels extremely bloated and a bit 'sanak' XP Oh, It was not a lucky day for me. Because on that day, my stuff keeps on falling (i.e. my bag with camera inside and produce this loud 'thup' sound), my spoon accidentally slipped and loud 'kachings' sound (sooo embarassing!!), my abc spilled on my chair (urghh), and lastly, I was not around to sing Syadah happy birthday or see the waiter carrying her cake.. Poor me and my clumsiness....huhu We got out from RBC around 8-ish XP and I paid for the parking which cost me $3!! Both me and Syadah went to the Mall after that and accompanied Deezah shopping. She bought Faceshop perfumes and I bought a white flat at Summit :) Oh and finding parking was a lot harder that evening! It was crowded here and there.. okie, till next time toodles ♥ p.s. sorry dear, I did not give u any birthday gift, but I promise u I'd get u one in UK:)
